Invite People
You can easily invite people to participate in your plan development. Click the access tab and invite a new participant. You can disable their access, or you can even set a date for the access to automatically expire!
Control Access Levels
The system has three access levels that you can define, full access, read only, or reports only.
- With full access the users are able to make any changes or edits to the plan.
- Reports access lets the user only see the final business plan PDF and other supporting graphs and tables

Forecasting without formulas
No one really wants to fuss with complicated formulas. The Smart Forecaster™ generates the entire plan from simple inputs. It works the way you think.
For instance if the cost of sales for your widget is 50% of sales of widgets, that is exactly what you tell the forecaster. It does the rest of the work for you. If your loan is 80% of your capital expenses, then that is what you tell the forecaster…and it does the rest.
If your forecast is the same every month but starts in the third month, that’s what you tell the forecaster.
Month by month forecasting
Many people make critical errors when forecasting the second and third year of their plan when they simply set a total forecast for the year. The Smart Forecaster™ takes your data and extends it month-by-month so you don’t make any errors in judgment.
3 or 5 year plan
The plan setup lets you select either a 3 or 5 year plan duration.
Easily switch plan duration
You can switch your plan from 3 to 5 years, and the Smart Forecaster kicks in and extends your forecast using the same logic as your 3 year plan.
Easily Change the Plan Start Date
No need to worry about when the plan starts. Simply change the plan start date at any time. The Smart Forecaster™ will automatically adjust everything in your plan to suit the new start date! Gone are the days of having to fuss with dates.
Visual Planning
Each and every item shows a graph of the forecast with data for every month. You no longer have to guess…you can see your forecast.
Visual Cash Flow
Now you can see and interact with the cash flow statement visually. Make changes to dividends or other cash allowances and see the cash balance graph!

Smart Numbers™
One of the biggest problems with writing a business plan is that numbers can change after you have the plan written. Once you make the change to the financial forecast you must then find all the references to financial numbers in your plan and change them as well. The system includes a set of commonly used Smart Numbers™ that can be dropped into the text of the plan at any place. These numbers will automatically update with changes in the financials.
Smart Graphs™
You can insert graphs anywhere in the document and size the graph to your liking. Set them so they take all the line space, or set them so text flows around them. All with drop and drag simplicity! The graphs will update automatically when you change numbers or generate the plan.
Smart Tables™
No more need to cram an income statement on to one page. You can drop a Smart Tables™ anywhere into the document, and it will automatically update with any changes to the financials, and flow across pages breaks seamlessly. It even knows when to show the table landscape or in portrait orientation!
Insert Your Pictures or Logo
You can drop your own pictures or logo into your plan at any place, and also control the text flow around the picture, giving you with a professional looking presentation. The right pictures can provide the extra polish your plan needs to convince your reader.
